Workplace Safety, Health and Welfare Induction MOOC

Reliance Occupational Health and the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Sligo have collaborated to develop a 'Workplace Safety, Health and Welfare Induction' course, available for free on the ATU Sligo Moodle Platform at (link unavailable). The course is also accessible directly via an LTI link from (link unavailable)

When accessing the course through (link unavailable), you won't need to re-register on the ATU platform. Upon completion, you'll find your certificate(s) on the course homepage and in your 'My Certificates' account on (link unavailable) for future reference. Digital Badges are also available upon completion; details can be found on the ATU platform.

This Privacy Policy applies to all learners accessing the Induction course via (link unavailable) and their account on (link unavailable) ATU Sligo's Privacy Policy applies to all learners on their Moodle platform, including those accessing the Induction course via (link unavailable) Acceptance of this Privacy Policy is required before proceeding with the course.

What personal data do we collect?

A one-time registration is required on (link unavailable) to access our online courses. When creating an account, you'll be asked to complete mandatory fields (name, county, country, and email address) and optional ones. Upon enrolling in a course, we collect the above data. After completing a course, we retain your scores and certificates.

Authorized personnel from Reliance Occupational Health and our service providers have access to your personal data, as per our service agreement. Your account is secured by a username and password, which you should protect. Children and Young People

The majority of our courses on (link unavailable) are designed for adult learners. However, we also offer resources for primary school teachers to use in their classrooms. Our post-primary course, 'Workplace Safety and Health,' is suitable for teachers and further education institutions to deliver in a classroom setting.

When using our 'Group Manager' facility, teachers/tutors must obtain consent from students or their guardians before registering them for a course. This requires logging students' email addresses, enabling them to access the course under their teacher's/tutor's supervision.

Similarly, when using our Digital Badges platform, teachers/tutors must obtain advance consent to log students' email addresses. We will delete any data collected without consent and honor requests to remove information, which can be made by emailing [insert email].
